The Tomatis Method is a unique and highly-effective auditory stimulation therapy. This technique has had stunning success all over the world, helping children and adults with auditory processing problems, dyslexia, dyspraxia, learning disabilities, attention-deficit disorders (ADHD), and those with sensory integration and motor skill difficulties.
Our goal at Écoute is to help people of all ages develop and improve their learning, language and communication skills and attain a sense of well-being through an auditory training program that utilizes sound stimulation, voice training and counseling. The Tomatis Method is non-invasive, drug-free and involves no tutoring or teaching. It allows children and adults to realize their maximum potential with greater ease and flow in social situations, learning environments, and in the workplace.
The Tomatis Method also helps children focus more and become aware of their environment. It wakes them up and gives them the desire to communicate more with their parents and peers. It helps adults have more clarity of mind, energy, and a certain sense of well being. The auditory stimulation therapy is based on the work of Dr. Alfred A. Tomatis, a famous French Ear-Nose-Throat Specialist and the pioneer behind the science of Audio Psycho Phonology.
